Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton at 200 Mercy Circle, Oceanside, California.

The new Hospital is very nice looking but is poorly run as continuity of care is minimal. Certain departments are understaffed and run completely inefficiently. New Hospital same old problems!

Had a procedure to remove two fat lumps from under my nipples. Saw the doctor before deployment about a month before, and they said we should wait because maybe it was from my protein use 3 months prior, even though I said it was there for over a year and painful. They told me to come back after deployment and "if it was still there they would do surgery". If it was still there. Like the fat lump fairy was going to take it away. Anyway after I came back from deployment the doctor said it had diffused to my muscle tissue, big surprise, and turned an extremely easy surgery into a complicated one. Instead of removing the lumps, the surgeon basically filleted my pecs in order to remove the diffused fat tissue. Now I have pain in the left one on contact, I'm assuming permanently. Its been 2 years. Thank you US Navy medicine.
